Meet “Punkin”, a sweet Russian Blue kitten, born September 15, 2021, in the city shelter.Punkin loves to run Zoomies around the house, batting paper wads, pens and pencils, or assorted small items across the floor and under large heavy pieces of furniture. When she needs a break, she likes to rest on your lap. While Punkin is adorable and cuddly, her decision making and problem-solving skills are not fully developed. For example, thinking that clumping litter was a low-calorie snack. After a 2 a.m. visit to the emergency vet, and some careful monitoring and follow-up care, it has been decided that [for her own good, and so you get at least 7 hours sleep] Punkin should only have access to pine pellet litter or some other non-clay/non-clumping litter.Punkin gets along with other cats, as long as they respect her supreme eminence. She doesn’t tolerate “side-eye” or snarky mumbling from other cats. She’s not afraid to ambush her feline roommates when she’s feeling playful. She’d also be happy as a much-worshiped only cat, receiving daily tribute in the form of treats and cuddles. Punkin is a sweet and spirited kitten. Her playful antics will bring much laughter to your household.
